Welcome Australian Carnivores
What exactly is “The Carnivore Diet” and why is it currently gaining such popularity?
The surge in interest can be attributed to the remarkable health benefits that people worldwide are experiencing. This dietary approach has been practiced for as long as humans have inhabited the Earth. But why now? Why are we reverting back to our ancestral ways? The answer lies in our pursuit of better health. Unfortunately, our transition to omnivorous eating habits over time, with the cultivation of grains, vegetables, and the industrial farming of animals, has had a detrimental impact on our well-being. We have become increasingly obese, consuming an abundance of processed foods. Our cravings for quick, convenient, and affordable meals have taken a toll on our bodies, but this was never meant to be our way of life. In recent years, there has also been a push towards vegetarianism and even veganism, but let's be honest here – it has left many of us feeling less than optimal. You only have to do a quick search of Vegan turned Carnivore and you will see. So let’s get into what the Carnivore Diet is. There are few different versions from strict carnivore to more relaxed and through to including some vegetables and being labelled as Ketovore.
